Yuvraj injured in warm-up session |
Thursday, January 17, 2008 |
17 January 2008
Indian casualty list included another name in Yuvraj Singh as he twisted his knee today during the warm-up session and is being examined. Yuvraj hurt his knee this morning before the start of second day's play of the third Test against Australia and it is still not certain how serious is the injury, according to media manager MV Sridhar. Apart from that there was a little concern on VVS Laxman's ankle but Sridhar allayed any fears. Sourav Ganguly went for a check up from the ground this morning but according to Sridhar the left-hander is fine and it was a routine check up. Apparently, the cough in his chest is still giving Ganguly a bit of trouble. Meanwhile some good news for Indiaas Kerla express S Sreesanth has announced that he is fit and is eager to join the Indian squad in Austrlaia for ODI series which will also feature Sri Lanka. |
