Indian Hockey looses Viren as he announces retirement |

Viren Rasquinha announced his retirement from the international hockey at the MIG Club in Bangalore. The 27 year old will be doing a one year course with the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad from April this year. The ISB is one of the most prestigious B-schools in the country. Viren played 180 international games which included Olympics, Asian Games, Asia Cup and Junior World Cup. "I have nothing but fond memories of my assosiation with Indian hockey. I have played with dignity and pride and wish to quit in the same manner," Rasquinha said. |
